As Einstein described time: money, while a persistent illusion, is still just an illusion. As I see it, pursuing money as a life goal exclusively will set you on a perpetual pursuit of an illusion, which can obviously never be obtained. If you chase the illusion, you will never find what all people really want: passion and purpose. I've come to realize that creating fearlessly (although mindfully) in a way that is in line with one’s true passion and purpose will provide a fulfilled life, and deliver the physical and financial benefits along with it.

So, in line with our true selves and core purpose, we have focused primarily on tech startups, online technology, and digital media. These spaces change constantly, and allow us to remain excited about each new day, profoundly engaged and on the cutting edge of our growing global brain. Systems of control (government, media, finance, etc) are being disrupted and toppled by online technologies, bringing us all closer together by allowing us to deal directly and cooperate with each other instead, bypassing and effectively dispensing with the self-serving gatekeepers.

My intention is to develop, support and promote startup companies that seek to disrupt systems of control. My ultimate goal is to "flip the pyramid" - to turn the systems of control upside down, allowing everyone access to resources, forcing industry and corporations to provide real value, and government "leaders" to be responsible to those they serve, rather than claim illegitimate authority over them. Our new paradigm - an inverse pyramid (as it should be) - will disallow most coercion and corruption in business and governance, and encourage community participation, connecting people and bridging cultural divides. Never before in known history has this potential been real.
